WHEN TO HIRE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER

Dréa Peters Interiors offers Full + Incremental Interior Design Services. Both Austin + Remote options are available.

FULL SERVICE CLIENTS

We recommend connecting with a designer + their recommended contractor at least 3 - 6 months before your desired launch date.

Our onboarding process takes 2-4 weeks. During this time, we develop your Scope of Work, Budget and introduce you to our trusted Contractors. The customer experience is of utmost importance. Laying the necessary groundwork before we delve into the creative phase helps ensure a successful project for you.

Our FULL SERVICE Process

We want our clients to experience project rollouts with ease. That happens when we design + plan every aspect of your project, down to the tiniest detail. Investing ample time during the planning phase ensures that everything is in place before construction begins.

When your contractor has a clear + comprehensive roadmap to follow, you save time + money watching all the magical details come to life.

 

discovery + Consultation

Our introductory call is when we chat and decide if we are a good fit to explore further. The initial on-site consultation is our first development meeting. 

This is our initial working meeting + is a paid-for service. Clients share their home aspirations + we generate preliminary ideas to best bring their vision to life. It is a project foundation meeting.

The scope of each project varies greatly and no two projects are alike.  Our team is skilled at working on projects of all levels.

We serve Austin, New York City (and the Northfork). In addition, we also work remotely to reach clients anywhere in the country. Many of our remote clients are located in California + Colorado.

design + Planning

We work through all of the technical aspects during this phase – from measurements to specs and any other architectural details that should be taken into consideration.

Our talented + trusted Tradespeople join the team to fine tune the scope of work. We gather the necessary information + work together to prepare informed estimates for Project + Budget Planning.

Sourcing primarily from our trade resources + our treasure trove Resource Library (built over the past 15 years), we pull together materials. finishes, furniture, lighting + custom designs.

Our Design Meetings showcase our drawings, 2+3D models, material samples + concept boards making our shared vision so real we can’t wait for the next steps!
